Rowan Telmac Seating employ high calibre staff and uses quality materials and modern processes to manufacture passenger transport seating (including bus seats and coach seats) at their modern, purpose built premises in Telford, Shropshire, England. About Rowan Telmac Seating Rowan Telmac was established in the UK in 1981 to produce high quality pressed steel engineering parts and tubular welded fabrications for use in the manufacture of electric wheelchairs and scooters. Over the years, Rowan Telmac has expanded and diversified into other fields. In 1997, Rowan Telmac developed a tubular steel frame for bus seats and in 1999 set up a trim shop and Rowan Telmac Seating was born. Rowan Telmac Seating now have over 100,000 bus seats in service and operates from a modern, purpose built factory on a 1.5 acre site at the centre of the Hortonwood Industrial Estate in Telford. Our range of UK seating/UK bus seats has now increased and includes built in bus seats, tip up bus seats, bus seats with headrests and three point belt bus seats, together with a range of seating accessories. Rowan Telmac Seating have earned a reputation for quality and have a proven capability to meet the demands of the bus seat industry. This has made Rowan Telmac Seating a major player in the UK seating market. Our steady growth and determination to maintain our position at the forefront of passenger transport seating, relies on the quality, strength and comfort of our seats. Rowan Telmac Seating is committed to the exhaustive testing of its bus seats, and the development of new products to ensure our customers of the latest products with total reliability. External testing houses are used for seat certification, whilst fatigue, load and destruction tests are performed in house. Over the years, Rowan Telmac Seating has built up a wealth of knowledge and expertise and our engineers and designers have a combined total of over 300 years engineering experience.
